What is a Dine-Around?
The dine-around evening is the perfect chance for sellers and suppliers to host their prospects for dinner and build the important relationships that hold this industry together.
IMPORTANT
Make your reservations ASAP – even before you know who your guests will be. Restaurants in the area (below) are filling fast with holiday parties and other events. Once made, reservations can be altered or cancelled, so it is safer to book your spot before sending your invitations.
Who do I invite?
Sellers can invite any buyers with whom they wish to show appreciation for their existing business relationship or they may invite buyers with whom they wish to begin a new business relationship. You can host as many or as few buyers as you wish. Buyers may receive multiple dine-around invitations, so it pays to get an early start and set a RSVP deadline.
Where and when do we have dinner?
Below is a thorough list of nearby restaurants that could host your dine-around including links to their website, their phone number, and their distance from the host hotel.
Marketplace appointments end at 5:45 and there are no scheduled events until Party With a Purpose (8:30pm to 11:30pm).
PRO TIP
The two most convenient locations will be Ginko and Lone Star. Ginko is onsite which means that your guests can leave their jackets in the hotel room, however, reservations fill quickly because it is a relatively small space. Lone Star is the host venue for Party With a Purpose, making it easy to slip from one event to the other, and OMCA will provide shuttles back to the hotel.
