OMCA has finally had a response to two requests for industry assistance (original request June 19, 2020 and further request December 11, 2020). Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries have responded they have been overwhelmed with requests for assistance and are working 6 – 7 months behind but, they are acknowledging our requests.
We have been given the opportunity to complete an application for potential Grant Funding and once submitted, it will be a further 4 – 5 months to be reviewed and hopefully approved. We do not know if we will be approved or any dollar amount at this point, but we assure our members that we will be seeing this through to a final outcome.
