On Tuesday, November 5th, OMCA Marketplace delegates witnessed Nina Chabot accept a donation on behalf of the Mary Lynn Higgins Youth Fund produced by years of fundraising efforts of the Development Fund committee, including the OMCA Silent Auction and Party With A Purpose.
Mary Lynn Higgins Youth Fund works to prevent students from being left behind while their peers enjoy a school trip by providing the necessary funding to the students in need of assistance. They rely on donations such as this and their own fundraising efforts to be able to provide this assistance and have an ambitious and admirable goal to be able to help every single student that applies for funding.
OMCA is grateful for all its Members who have helped make this important contribution through their participation in the annual Silent Auction, Party With A Purpose, annual Golf Tournament raffle and/or volunteering for the development fund committee. This wouldn’t be possible without them!
